I'm going to talk today about why there is no get rich scheme in WoW and risking buying gold is just dumb. Hard work is the key to making gold in WoW, you have to invest time to level professions, build stockpiles, and craft items. Sounds a lot at real life right? Well it is. Now I'm not saying that you should not eat, sleep, or go outside and get some sun either. Gold making and WoW economics should be fun for you, if it isn't then stick to the minimum gold making strategies to help you upgrade your shiny purples.
I for one love making gold, getting into bidding wars, building stockpiles, driving my competition out of markets, and eventually enjoying the gold I build. There is so many aspects of gold making and the hate mail I receive from competition just makes me smile.
I've read on other blogs about huge days these other players have had and I always wondered when I would be able to pull it off. It really came down to me building a large stock pile and demand for markets this weekend blew up. Between alchemy, tailoring, jewelcrafting, and enchanting I raked in 12k out of my mail box! Most days I usually only made 3k gold on average because I was limited by my professions and the amount of time I had to play. I hope you see the real value of building stockpiles and how they can help you make some serious gold. Never running out of supply is the key to keeping your revenue streams alive all the time.
On a side note, I power leveled inscription last night and it cost me about 1.5k gold to level it. Although I made around 270 glyphs that I plan on setting up within quick auctions tonight and posting them all. I am really excited to jump into glyph markets! I will share all the details soon.
Thanks for checking in!
