Cooking and First Aid will keep you in good health and help you level faster, reducing your down-time between bouts of actions. Fishing will help you level your Cooking once you have reach a skill 350 and above. You'll need it to enter the Daily Cooking Quest in Dalaran as soon as you get there. It's a great, fast way to earn some WOTLK gold.

3. Dying is Expensive - Your expensive WOTLK gear gets a little bashed every time you die and it will cost you an arm and leg (literally, if you play Horde) to repair. Constant repairs will drain your gold so make sure you enter combat buffed and in good health. A good supply of cooked food and bandages is a must as mentioned above.

4. Gather, Gather, Gather - Is a great way to earn gold. You'll find plenty of Herbs, Ore and Game throughout the starter zones the Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord. If you have yet to level your Primary gathering professions when entering WOTLK trying farming Meats from the abundant game and Frostweave cloth from the many humanoids in the starter zones. Both Meats and Cloth sell for much gold in the WOTLK expansion.

5. Cold Weather Flying - Grab this upgrade as soon as you hit level 77 so that you can once more use your flying mount. Make sure you put aside the 1000 gold for the upgrade. I just do not have the time to level each and every class, so I simply review them on different websites.

I find out what spells they have and compare them to my own spells, this way I will know what to look for in battle. You have to know what to use against your opponent to either deflect, or counter their attacks. If you just simply go into battle and use the same exact moves on every enemy than it is not likely you will get very far.

2. Gear Optimization

Another tip for PvP is gear optimization. Even if you do not have the very best PvP gear available there is still ways you can improve it for PvP. Using the best enchants, gems, glyphs, and professions can greatly improve your PvP performance.

3. Key Bindings

The third tip I have for PvP success is key binding set up. It is important to have your key bindings mastered. You have to know exactly where your spells are linked to. There is very little time to react to different PvP situations, and if you cannot find the spell you need instantly than it is not likely you will succeed.

4. First Aid

Getting the most out of your bandages is very important. For whatever class you are, the extra bit of health can save your life.

5. Addons

There are so many addons available it can be difficult to decide what the ones to get. It is really up to you to choose your addons. It can be very helpful to get class specific addons for PvP.

6. Macros

Setting up macros can give you an advantage over the competition. Instead of having to click every singe spell or move, with the use of an effective macro you will be able to use more than one ability at once.

7. Trinkets

I normally keep more than one set of trinkets, because there are certain times when I like to switch it up. When I am in PvP I almost always use the insignia trinket to get me out of any stun or polymorph effects, but I usually change the other one.

8. Monitor Setup

While this is not the biggest factor that goes into PvP success it can have an impact. If you are viewing your screen on a very small monitor it can make things hard to see. I like to have at least a 22 inch monitor for viewing my battles.

9. Music

World of Warcraft players have a lot of activities available at any given time but what about the times when you just don't feel like questing or are waiting in the queue to get into an instanced dungeon? That is a good time to raise your trade skills in WoW. There are several different trades available to gamers including tailoring, skinning, leatherworking, blacksmithing, engineering, enchanting, herbalism, jewelcrafting and mining.

Tailoring is a good skill to take up, particularly if you are a cloth-wearing class like a priest, magician or warlock. Looting most humanoid monsters in World of Warcraft, gives you a very good chance of getting pieces of cloth that can be tailored into cloth armor and various other valuable items such as bags. Bags sell very well in the auction houses that can be found in most major cities of Norrath. Cloth may also be found in chests or awarded in World of Warcraft quests.

Skinning and leatherworking kind of go hand in hand. The corpses of beasts may be skinned to provide leather for the leatherworking trade. Hunters and shamans wear leather armor until level 40 when they can start to wear mail armor. Rogues and druids use leather armor for their entire careers. Gold in World of Warcraft stands at the base of everything. That's why farming World of Warcraft gold has become a priority for everyone. PvP-er or not, everyone needs gold. So how can your wallet influence your PvP performance? I don't know about everyone else but when I started to PvP I sucked at it. Not because I'm unskilled, or because I'm too slow, it was simply because I had very weak gear.

If you complain about that you will hear people saying that gear doesn't matter, only skill. I find that funny coming from someone who has the top gear on him and has no problems in PvP.

That's like when actors, good looking actors, say stuff like, the inside counts more than the outside. I tried PvP-ing in my green gear thinking I'll get the PvP armor and I'll be ok. Well to get it you need to kill something, especially as a Rogue, you can't run around leeching because you die in an instant. So I started farming World of Warcraft gold as a last resort.

First off I started looking for a bunch of daily quests to do, daily... After I found some I made sure I wrote down locations and stuff as I did them so it will be easier the next day. Remember that World of Warcraft covers a lot of ground, it is a huge game world, but there are only a few places that a Druid can make some real gold. The best places are Scholomance and Stratholme. The Scholomance is located in the ruins of the palatial House of Barov, on a rise overlooking the abandoned city of Caer Darrow. The enemy level is 56-62 and you need to be at least level 45 but you need to be at least 70 to attempt at soloable. You also need the Skeleton Key. A warlock can pull the Life Tap/Hellfire trick to get in as a ghost. The city of Stratholme is the Scourge's capital in Lordaeron, it is on the north end of the subcontinent.

In these two locations you can recover a lot of items that you can then trade for some WoW gold. In both places you can find the Righteous Orb which can earn you up to 40 gold. There are blue equipment items that can be sold as well. You have the option of selling in NPC or disenchant them, after which you can have these for up to 20 gold.

You can also take the quest route where you can summon Gahzranka. This Boss si found in Zul Gurub. It could drop the Tome of Polymorph - Turtle. If you are fortunate enought to get this mega-valuable item then you can get at least 2000 gold when you take it to the Auction House. Now that's what you call a return on investment.

Players new to the game often pass up the opportunity to make gold in wow through their lack of experience in terms of what and where to grind and often fail to recognize items of value that eventually drop, missing the opportunity to make much gold at auction. A good example is the grinding of spiders.

There is gold to be made in the grinding of spiders. Love em, or hate em they do drop some valuable mats, notably Spider Silk which always sells well - at least on my server - and is in much demand from the Tailors and Leatherworkers. A good example of a low level spider mob to grind for Spider Silk are the Tarantulas at Alther's Mill, Redbridge Mountains. You'll also find them lurking in and around graveyards. A good example being Duskwood. But probably the best location are the Giant Plains Creeper of the Arathi Highlands.

Of course spiders drop more than silk. There are several cooking recipes that require a piece of spider in one form of another. This fact was taught to me by my old friend Stephen Ryback who is also the cook at the Pig & Whistle, Stormwind. In between practicing with his throwing knives (makes me think he wasn't always a cook), Stephen will also show you how to cook a mean 'Spider Sausage'. The sausage requires you to have 2 x White Spider Meat and a cooking skill of 200. The Spider Sausage restores 1392 health over 30 seconds in addition to a buff of plus 12 stamina and spirit lasting 15 minutes.

Spiders For First Aid

One of the parts that spiders drop that you might not have thought of as useful, is the venom sac. The sac is widely used for First Aid and Alchemy in the crafting of Anti-Venom. The venom sacs come in two sizes: Large and Small and sell great on the Auction House.
