World of Warcraft players have a lot of activities available at any given time but what about the times when you just don't feel like questing or are waiting in the queue to get into an instanced dungeon? That is a good time to raise your trade skills in WoW. There are several different trades available to gamers including tailoring, skinning, leatherworking, blacksmithing, engineering, enchanting, herbalism, jewelcrafting and mining.
Tailoring is a good skill to take up, particularly if you are a cloth-wearing class like a priest, magician or warlock. Looting most humanoid monsters in World of Warcraft, gives you a very good chance of getting pieces of cloth that can be tailored into cloth armor and various other valuable items such as bags. Bags sell very well in the auction houses that can be found in most major cities of Norrath. Cloth may also be found in chests or awarded in World of Warcraft quests.
Skinning and leatherworking kind of go hand in hand. The corpses of beasts may be skinned to provide leather for the leatherworking trade. Hunters and shamans wear leather armor until level 40 when they can start to wear mail armor. Rogues and druids use leather armor for their entire careers. Leatherworkers can craft leather armor, ammo pouches, quivers and other useful items.
The mining trade is performed by using a mining pick on nodes of ore that can be found scattered all over.
Blacksmiths use metal ore to make chain and plate armor and weapons. Warriors and paladins wear mail armor until level 40 after which they can wear plate. Death Knights begin their careers at level 55 and so always wear plate armor.
Engineers use mined ores to make all sorts of handy gadgets.
Jewelcrafters use ore to make jewelry and prospect ores to acquire gems to ply their trade.
Herbalism is the art of picking various plants that can be found in all World of Warcraft environments. These plants can then be fashioned into potions to perform a number of things including restoring mana and health.
Enchanters can add statistics to improve armor and weapons. They can also disenchant items and gain valuable materials for more enchantments.
Each of these skills has advantage and disadvantages and some can be difficult to get to grandmaster status but there is a great deal of World of Warcraft gold to be made if you stick it out.

Bringing Gold Farming and PvP All Together
Gold in World of Warcraft stands at the base of everything. That's why farming World of Warcraft gold has become a priority for everyone. PvP-er or not, everyone needs gold. So how can your wallet influence your PvP performance? I don't know about everyone else but when I started to PvP I sucked at it. Not because I'm unskilled, or because I'm too slow, it was simply because I had very weak gear.
If you complain about that you will hear people saying that gear doesn't matter, only skill. I find that funny coming from someone who has the top gear on him and has no problems in PvP.
That's like when actors, good looking actors, say stuff like, the inside counts more than the outside. I tried PvP-ing in my green gear thinking I'll get the PvP armor and I'll be ok. Well to get it you need to kill something, especially as a Rogue, you can't run around leeching because you die in an instant. So I started farming World of Warcraft gold as a last resort.
After you level up, you still need to PvP to get some better items. I started thinking how I could start farming World of Warcraft gold and came up with some ideas. First off I started looking for a bunch of daily quests to do, daily... After I found some I made sure I wrote down locations and stuff as I did them so it will be easier the next day. I was doing pretty good but still I needed more. So I went to the Auction House and started looking for ways to make gold with that.
Farming World of Warcraft gold can be very easy using the Auction House as long as you do some research and watch the prices and how they behave. I made a list of items that sold out each time and followed their prices to see where they stand. I started buying such items when they were cheaper, hold them until most of them sold and then put mine up for more that I got them, much more. 80% of the times it worked and I was able to get a nice profit from it. With those 2 methods I made farming World of Warcraft gold a piece of cake.
After a week or so of using those two methods, I had enough money to buy some blue or purple items. I also was able to buy myself spots in raids for the items that couldn't be sold and all of this because I started farming World of Warcraft gold for myself. After I pimped my character, I went to PvP again. In the month that I researched ways to start farming World of Warcraft gold and actually making the gold I haven't PvPed at all.
When I went back to Battlegrounds I could clearly see the differences. My gear in combination with my PvP experience made it easy for me to grab victories after victories. I was amazed to see that in World of Warcraft gold equals everything, so I adapted and haven't looked back.
After a while you don't feel like beating your brain to find new ways to start farming World of Warcraft gold, so I bought myself a gold guide. It is so easy having one, you just use and get gold. It's as easy as that.

Making Gold Druid Style
The Druid Class has some unique abilities, it can shapeshift and cast spells. It is a powerful Class if used correctly, but sometimes gamers think that this isn't a profitable class. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you are a Druid Class and your in a bit of a bind on how to make some gold then read on.
Don't be discouraged if you haven't been able to make gold, let me show you a few of places and ways where you are sure to make some profit. Sure, Druids are not a power class like the warriors and rogues, but if used correctly you can really begin to make your character bring in the gold.
Remember that World of Warcraft covers a lot of ground, it is a huge game world, but there are only a few places that a Druid can make some real gold. The best places are Scholomance and Stratholme. The Scholomance is located in the ruins of the palatial House of Barov, on a rise overlooking the abandoned city of Caer Darrow. The enemy level is 56-62 and you need to be at least level 45 but you need to be at least 70 to attempt at soloable. You also need the Skeleton Key. A warlock can pull the Life Tap/Hellfire trick to get in as a ghost. The city of Stratholme is the Scourge's capital in Lordaeron, it is on the north end of the subcontinent.
In these two locations you can recover a lot of items that you can then trade for some WoW gold. In both places you can find the Righteous Orb which can earn you up to 40 gold. There are blue equipment items that can be sold as well. You have the option of selling in NPC or disenchant them, after which you can have these for up to 20 gold.
You can also take the quest route where you can summon Gahzranka. This Boss si found in Zul Gurub. It could drop the Tome of Polymorph - Turtle. If you are fortunate enought to get this mega-valuable item then you can get at least 2000 gold when you take it to the Auction House. Now that's what you call a return on investment.
Well, I hope these few methods can inspire and motivate you to figure out some other ways to make your Druid rich. It can be done as long as you plan ahead and have your WoW ducks in a row. Good luck.

WoW Spider Silk Farming
Players new to the game often pass up the opportunity to make gold in wow through their lack of experience in terms of what and where to grind and often fail to recognize items of value that eventually drop, missing the opportunity to make much gold at auction. A good example is the grinding of spiders.
Spider Silk
There is gold to be made in the grinding of spiders. Love em, or hate em they do drop some valuable mats, notably Spider Silk which always sells well - at least on my server - and is in much demand from the Tailors and Leatherworkers. You'll find spiders in most of the zones, but they tend to be concentrated in certain areas. A good example of a low level spider mob to grind for Spider Silk are the Tarantulas at Alther's Mill, Redbridge Mountains. You'll also find them lurking in and around graveyards. A good example being Duskwood. But probably the best location are the Giant Plains Creeper of the Arathi Highlands.
Cooking With Spider
Of course spiders drop more than silk. There are several cooking recipes that require a piece of spider in one form of another. This fact was taught to me by my old friend Stephen Ryback who is also the cook at the Pig & Whistle, Stormwind. In between practicing with his throwing knives (makes me think he wasn't always a cook), Stephen will also show you how to cook a mean 'Spider Sausage'. The sausage requires you to have 2 x White Spider Meat and a cooking skill of 200. The Spider Sausage restores 1392 health over 30 seconds in addition to a buff of plus 12 stamina and spirit lasting 15 minutes.
Spiders For First Aid
One of the parts that spiders drop that you might not have thought of as useful, is the venom sac. The sac is widely used for First Aid and Alchemy in the crafting of Anti-Venom. The venom sacs come in two sizes: Large and Small and sell great on the Auction House.
Spiders In The Wrath of the Lich King
The latest incarnation of Spider Silk is Iceweb Spider Silk which was introduced with Wrath of the Lich King. Iceweb Spider Silk is used in many crafting recipes and patterns including Epic Spellthreads to Flying Carpets.

So much for Children's Week
So, Children's Week came and went, and for the most part I think it went by largely unnoticed. Aside from the first few days where Battlegrounds were overrun with orphans -- a truly disturbing thought if you stop to think about it -- most people pretty much completed the Children's Week meta-Achievement on the first day. In theory, this was one of those holidays that had the potential to screw

Do you ever get the feeling that WoW is like some sort of purgatory? That you're trapped in an endless loop of hellish deviations intent on consuming the very soul from which all things good and pure spring forth from? Disappointment with the patch 3.1 game world
The last few days I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out why I'm not particularly enjoying Patch 3.1 when I'm doing something besides raiding Ulduar. I should be enjoying it! When I first checked it out on the PTR, I was extremely excited about it. The Argent Tournament especially. The whole jousting deal, the Arthurian themes, the potential for story progression, the whole thing. It

Good deal. You could say that only the highest level

We've heard about suggestions of vanilla servers before (and Blizzard has flatly stated that they have no plans for them), but here's a new twist: Nomnom on Korgath says that Blizzard should finally, once and for all, abandon the old world. He says that leveling from 1-60 is a pain, even with the changes and recruit-a-friend (and on that, I agree -- my Paladin is level 50 and staying there,

WoW Guide: How to be a professional Warlock
I've been thinking for awhile now that I'd like to approach Blood Pact a bit differently. Thus far the bulk of my posts have focused on playing a Warlock at level 80. Granted, a casual Warlock at 80, but still, my aim has been towards max level players. Aside from the obvious problem that raises of excluding lower level 'locks, this approach pointlessly limits my available subject matter. And

Val'anyr explained
In an unusual move, Blizzard has spelled out exactly how the proc on Val'anyr, Hammer of the Ancient Kings works. There are probably one or two of you who consider it a spoiler, so I'll put it after the cut. First, he notes that it is the proc that makes the item legendary, given that its stats are on par for epics of its ilvl. Here is precisely what that lovely proc does:There is a 10% chance
WoW Article: Disposable raiders
PUG players seem to be everywhere these days. For guilds that can't field a full 25, PUGs are running Naxxramas and Obsidian Sanctum and even the Eye of Eternity alongside you. They're practically half the raid in your Vault of Archavon runs. They help your 10-player raid take out Heroic Flame Leviathan for some quick, juicy iLevel 226 loot. If Blizzard keeps nerfing Ulduar, pretty soon they'll

WoW Video: Van Helsing Trailer
Wello posted his Van Helsing Trailer over on Myndflame, with some commentary that I found pretty interesting. First, it's his fourth video, and the one he feels best about. More importantly, Wello said that he'd searched far and wide for anyone else who'd already created a Van Helsing trailer. He found none, so immediately made one himself. He considered it his "time to shine."It's easy to forget

Skinning And Hunting With Gold In Mind
Many players think that skinning is a boring profession. It does not lead into another profession immediately and it doesn't provide much excitement because you are not going out of your way to find it, but if you are interested in grinding your way to riches, utilizing skinning as a profession is a surefire way to make big profits quickly. World of Warcraft gold guides have the right idea when they tell you that it is the most efficient profession in the game.
Skinning is effective because you can complete it during the course of your travels without having to return to any zones or anything. Most World of Warcraft gold guides don't have any special directions or zones to visit because you don't need them. You can skin as you kill regular mobs. What's better is that anyone who is not a skinner will leave the carcasses of their kills ripe and ready for the picking by skinners like you. That means you can step in and pick off their kills with ease, boosting your totals substantially.
Where to Skin
That said, most World of Warcraft gold guides will give you a few good locations where you should spend more time searching for creatures to skin. At lower levels, these areas are the ones where high volumes of hunting quests are performed such as Stranglethorn Vale, where the expedition mastery quests, which combine to make up 60 separate kills for each player, can leave trails of bodies ready for you to skin throughout the zone.
What to Skin
While an early strategy to skin any creature you see is a good one, there are instances where you will want to focus your efforts a little more concertedly toward certain mobs than others, especially when the chance for rare leather drops are possible. In Outland for example, you can make big profits off of mobs that drop Knothide Leather and especially Heavy Knothide Leather. For this reason, Nagrand is obviously a very popular place for skinners to work. Most World of Warcraft gold guides tell playes to park themselves in Nagrand and pick off any of the 180 different kills being done for the Nagrand mastery quests by each player. There are a lot of mobs out here that are skinnable and they respawn constantly. With a good World of Warcraft gold guide in hand you can make a fortune in no time.
Where to be is the key to skinning for gold, how long to spend there, and when to be there when farming for gold. If you can effectively reach every step of the skinning and hunting process with gold in mind, you can make as much as 150-200 gold an hour at the highest levels - never forget about the item drops and all that valuable vendor trash.

Innervate changed to a flat number
As we had been warned previously, Innervate is being changed in patch 3.1.2 to restore a flat amount of mana. At the moment, it restores mana based on the spirit of the target. After the patch, it gives "450% of the casting Druid's base mana pool to the target over 20 seconds," which works out to a bit under 16,000 mana over the course of the effect. So the effect of Innervate is no longer based

PvPing as an Arcane Mage after 3.1
Before we begin, let's get a couple items out of the way.First: In case you haven't gotten it yet, or weren't aware, today is your last day to obtain Polymorph: Rabbit, at least during this calendar year. This is purchasable from the Noblegarden vendors for the low, low price of 100 Noblegarden Chocolates (it's only visible on the vendor if you're a Mage), which shouldn't take very long to obtain

WoW reference found in Wolverine game
X-Men Origins: Wolverine came out in theaters yesterday, to fairly dismal reviews, and like any good summer movie, it has a tie-in video game. Why are we talking about it here? Because the game contains a hidden nod to our own favorite digital pastime, WoW. I'll put specifics (and a screenshot) behind the cut, in case you don't want to be spoiled for the Wolverine game. Apparently, in a hidden

WoW Guide: Fishing Achievement: Deadliest Catch
I have lately had the motivation to complete achievements and do stuff I have rarely done in the past 4 years since the original WoW beta. Fishing, while I did manage to max this profession on my original priest character, I did never bother to fish again. Specially after making my Blood Elf paladin my new main character.I learned fishing on the paladin barely two or three days ago, mostly

WoW Guide: Children’s Week Achievements
I just finished the Children’s Week Achievement within some hours. The most troublesome achievement was the Battlegrounds one, and the fact I had to pay 90 gold for a ... cake. Oh wait, that was 180 gold. Forgot to summon the orphan (bangs head on the keyboard). The 310 % speed Violet Proto-Drake World Event Reward is worth it anyway. First thing I chose to do was the series of quests given by

WoW Article: Orphan tours edition
Ah, it's the weekend again. We find ourselves in a unique position this week as Friday sees the close of one yearly event and the beginning of another thanks to Blizzard pushing Noblegarden back a bit. This weekend, Azeroth is going to be overrun by pesky little kids asking to be taken around town, begging for junk food, and even endangering themselves as their respective guardians show them the

Twittering from the World of Warcraft
Just in case you needed any more Twitter in your life (I'm getting to the point where I really don't), enter the PlayXpert Twitter widget, part of the PlayXpert gaming toolset, a free Windows application that you can download to run alongside your PC games (very similar to Xfire and that type of application). It's a little bloaty if all you want to do is run Twitter alongside WoW, but
