Throw your own egg hunt with Noblegarden Eggs
I've been looking at the Noblegarden items for awhile now, since they first showed up on the PTR. For some reason, it never hit me until I saw it on live realms how cool one item in particular actually is. For five chocolates you can buy your own Noblegarden Egg, which allows you to lay a Brightly Colored Egg. Yes, that's five eggs for one egg of your own, which is a pretty horrible exchange

WoW Guide: Gearing your Mage for PvP
Of all the new stuff patch 3.1 brought us, perhaps this single most significant change was the addition of dual specs. Suddenly everybody and their second cousins can tank (or think they can tank), and every Druid/Paladin/Shaman has a resto/holy spec waiting in the wings. Everybody rolls on everything in every dungeon because they're "gearing up for their second spec"...or third spec...or

WoW Guide: Noblegarden FAQ
Noblegarden 2009 should be going live on the European realms in a few hours and then start popping up on realms elsewhere over the next day. Because so much of the holiday has changed and we've fielded a lot of questions from players about what's going on, we decided to write up a quick FAQ to the new (and vastly improved!) holiday.Help! WoW Guide: 2009 Noblegarden Season Guide
It has been my first attempt at Noblegarden since seasonal events were introduced. It took a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but I might say I have mastered it from knowing nothing of this event. Started yesterday in the evening, and I have completed most of the achievements already. Only two more to be done and claim my seasonal title. One step closer to that Violet Proto-Dragon

China: "WoW" Card Sales Slow
Prepaid online game card distributors report that sales of game cards for Blizzard Entertainment's 3D MMORPG World of Warcraft (WoW) have recently declined, according to DoNews. Beijing-based distributor Junnet Omnimedia has seen WoW card sales fall 25% since April 15, and an unnamed distributor said almost all its competitors have stopped purchasing WoW cards, the report said. Video games can be a great thing. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of me and my dad playing "Super Mario Bros." on the original Nintendo for hours during the winter months. My brother and I still play "Super Smash Bros." on my N64 when we're both at home. However, video games also have a dark side, a seedy underbelly that can leave even the most jaded of gamers wasted and useless. World of Warcraft Hunter Leveling
Fast leveling, easy to play, a big critter as you companion. These are some of the things that make the World of Warcraft Hunter one of the, if not THE, most popular class in the game. The pet is what defines the Hunter. Almost any class can use a bow or gun, and Warlocks get a certain set of demons to pick from, but Hunters can tame and work with practically any critter in the game. Cats, bears, boars, crabs, Thunderhawks, Bats, Owls, and more, there's a pretty long list of critters to pick from.
While any critter has it's advantages, besides the coolness factor, I'm going to suggest you pick from bears, boars, or cats. Bears can really soak the damage, cats don't soak as well, but they dish it out better, and the boar can take some punishment and has a nifty charge ability. That charge ability has additional uses in certain situations, such as PvP (Player Vs Player.)
When you hit the Hunter trainer always make sure you hit the Pet Trainer as well. Always keep your pet's health, growl (if it has growl,) and armor maxed out. As your pet levels up it will get training points which you can spend on increasing its abilities.
Also, higher level critters have certain other abilities, so you will want to upgrade your pet occasionally. An example is the stealthy cats in Thousand Needles or Stranglethorn Vale. Dismiss your current pet (right click the pet icon and pick "dismiss" from the menu) and tame the new one. You'll also eventually gain any special abilities your new pet has and will be able to train other pets with those abilities.
As far as your stats go you will want to get as much Agility as possible. It's your number one stat, figuring into your damage, your Crit Bonus, and your dodge. It even adds to your armor. Since you won't be engaging in melee combat (or shouldn't be, anyway) you'll have no use for Strength. Spirit is wasted on you.
While Hunters do have a Mana Pool, they don't use it up as fast as a caster (eg: Mage) so while a little Int (to increase your mana pool) is nice, don't sacrifice Agility to get it. Stamina goes directly into Health, so more Stamina is always good, but you don't need as much as a front line fighter (Rogues, for example.) Look for Agility first, then Stamina, maybe some Intelligence, then skip the others.
Some gear comes with special abilities such as "Attack Power" (AP.) This factors directly into your ranged damage so the more AP you can get the better. Other good ones to get are bonuses that add to your "Crit Rating" and/or Hit Rating.
At level 10 you do your pet training quests, train your critter of choice, and for the rest of your career your attack pattern will be much like this: send the pet in, let it grab the target's attention, and then start shooting the target. Hunters are very weak melee fighters, even with their special melee attacks. Those attacks are mainly to hamper the target, allowing you to get back into shooting range. Let your pet handle the melee damage.
Sometimes the target of your attack will ignore your pet and charge you instead. Other players will always do this. If that's the situation then your freezing trap, wing clip, and concussive shots will allow you to get some breathing room. Feign Death works very well against monsters, but it won't work more than once against players.
As far as talents go... well, that's the subject of some interesting debate. My suggestion is to go down the Beast Mastery tree primarily, with come Marksman talents to supplement the BM talents. The idea here is put much of your focus into making your pet into a lean, mean, destruction machine. Everything else is done in order to support that goal.
Lastly, work on your Hot Keys. You'll want to bind your most used abilities to certain keys which you can easily reach while moving about. Try to develop a system where you can do the whole combat without ever having to use the mouse to click a target or activate a power.
For example, you use the WASD keys to move about and look around with the mouse. TAB will target your next opponent. Consider setting the F key to be your main attack, perhaps Arcane Shot. I use T for my auto attack and Shift+T for my pet attack.
If these keys don't work for you that's cool, come up with a better system. The idea is to be able to improve your fighting efficiency by not having to use the mouse for everything.
The Hunter is a very versatile class, able to do quite well in any aspect of the game. There is a lot of variety in pets and talents and many of the combinations one can come up with are quite worthwhile. Don't be afraid to look into some of these variations and what things you may want to change, especially for PvP and Raiding.
Happy Hunting!

Mastering The Auction House
When it comes to playing the World of Warcraft, gold is a must have for any player. It does not matter which side you are on, or which professions you choose – if you do not have gold, you do not get the gear and goods you need. Yet, there are always some players that seem to just be rolling in gold. And no matter their level, they have all the highest priced gear, the best mounts, all of their training, awesome rare weapons, and more.
You want their gold and you want to have everything that they have. So, how do you do it? Well, there are many great ways that you can make the gold you need in the game, but there are some special secrets that the richest players do not want you to know when it comes to playing the auction house. Here are four secrets to playing the auction house that you should know:
1. Download the auctioneer addon that helps you scan the auction house. This addon will help you scan the auction house for items that are priced lower than normal. When you find good items that normally sell high for really cheap amounts, you can purchase them cheap and then resell them high.
This can make some great profits, especially if you know the best items to purchase for your server, such as ghost mushrooms, black dragon scales, and other specialty items that certain classes need for class specific quests.
2. Save up some gold and then buy out all of one specific item that normally sells high. When you purchase everything on the auction house (especially on the weekends) and then put them right back on the auction house for higher than they were listed, you can make a pretty decent profit. This works best for herbs, cloth, and other mats. While this does take some gold to do, it is worth it.
3. Save up all your good items to sell on the weekend. This means like blue or purple items, specialty items, mats, and other things that players need. Stack them all up over the week and them put them all on the auction house at once during the weekend and price them a bit higher than normal.
You will find that those "weekend warriors" will purchase everything on the auction house when they are looking to make something specific, or if they are looking for a special piece of armor. Weekends are the best money makers and you can actually double what you would normally make throughout the week.
4. Search out the mat lists for some of the rare patterns and recipes, then farm the mats. There are certain items that players will need for either patterns, recipes, quests, weapons, armor, and so on that most players either do not have time, or do not want, to farm. So, by farming these mats, you can make a ton of cash on the auction house without much effort.
Yes, these secrets are pretty easy. You are probably kicking yourself for not thinking of them earlier. Either way, you now know a few of the best auction house secrets that the richest players use when it comes to making money on the auction house.

Wrath of the Lich King Farming Gold Tips
There are thousands of time tested strategies for getting gold in WOTLK; perhaps the most consistently used tactic is grinding or farming gold. While farming for gold probably isn't the ideal way most people build up their bank account, when you start to see your pocket growing at a ridiculous rate, ideals tend to fly out the windows. To be successful in the Wrath of the Lion King, you really need to learn the noble art of gold farming.
It takes a while to learn how to farm gold and therefore earn sufficient to make real progress, but here are six real shortcuts that will help you farm masses of gold:
Tip 1: Gold farming needs to have the expanded range that a flying mount gives you. Without it you will be severely limited to regions that can be reached over the ground. Note that in WOTLK you can't use your flying mount until you buy 'Cold Weather Flying' at level 77 at a cost of 1000 gold. So earn a flying mount as quickly as possible.
Tip 2: Make sure that you have maxed all your professions before entering WOTLK. Once you have reached Grand Master status (level 350) then there are lots of gold making opportunities from various professions. Two of the best are gathering and crafting and you will be able to farm gold in Northend and starter areas such as Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord for both Horde and Alliance factions. If you also have cooking and fishing at grand master level then when in Dalaran you can take many cooking quests.
Tip 3: Choose a good gathering profession. Good ones are Mining, Herbalism (sell Fel Lotus, Mana Thistle, Netherbloom) and Skinning. Skinning is particularly profitable and huge prices can be obtained for Cobrascales and Windscales. Don't just sell the Cobrascale for 20g, instead buy some mats and make Nethercobra Leg Armor which can sell for 200g!
Tip 4: Choose a good crafting profession. One excellent one is Jewelcrafting and much can be earned by prospecting and gem cutting.
Tip 5: Round up roaming herds in the starter zones and dispatch them using AOE spells. It obviously helps here if you have skinning profession but WOTLK cooks also demand lots of Northend meats and trades can be particularly valuable.
Tip 6: Search out the best farming spots. The best place to farm eternal fire is at 85,73 in Wintergrasp. This is also good if you want to farm eternal water - try patrolling from 29,46 to 69,52. You can get eternal air by patrolling from 22.63 to 68.73, killing both Whispering Winds and Tempest Revenants.

Advantages for World of Warcraft Players
Would you like to transform your world into something magic? Well, if you cannot do this with the real world, you can at least spend some quality time in the World of Warcraft. Becoming a hero or a magician will be the easiest thing if you access a World of Warcraft private server, a virtual place where you can play this game online with some other game enthusiasts. You can get some advantages when playing on a server. You get help from friendly staff, dedicated people who are there to give you a hand any time you need one.
If you choose to play World of Warcraft on a private server, you will have the opportunity of playing with other real players. Therefore, the game becomes interactive. You will have more fun knowing that the characters you fight against are actually real people, just like you, trying to do their best to win. In this manner, the satisfaction of winning is bigger, because you will not defeat a computer, but a real person. Therefore, when accessing a World of Warcraft private server, you always have the possibility to select the "player vs. player" option.
Another advantage of a server is that you can access news about the game you are playing and you can even talk to the people with whom you play. Each World of Warcraft private server has a forum where gamers can share their interests and experiences when playing. Talking to persons who love the same things as you, who have the same interests and hobbies is a great thing. In this manner, you can make new friends who understand you perfectly because you share the same passion.
Most of the servers offer 24/7 access, which is a great thing because there is no time restriction imposed on your game. You can play whenever you want, any time of the day, any day of the week. If you are a new player, there is a World of Warcraft game guide. In this way, you will obtain the proper introduction to the magic world of the game and you will get explanations on how to play the game. Moreover, you will benefit from information about tricks and you will discover what every symbol means. There is a world map available. It will give you specific information about selected factions, so that you know where you are standing and what you have to do.
Usually, every World of Warcraft private server has a "Community" option. From here, you are able to read contents or to download your World of Warcraft wallpapers. When you are a big fun of a game in which you are interested, things like this will catch your attention. The people who created these servers know it. There has to be available a fan art option and a photo gallery of the game. Information about technical support is also available and it tells you everything you need to know about soft wear and hard wear needed when playing. Any time something goes wrong you can find out why, so that you should be able to solve the problem.
If you want to spend quality time playing World of Warcraft, all you have to do is to create your own account on the server for an amount of money that can vary from server to server. What a World Warcraft private server does is to entertain players from all around the world, bringing them together for playing, sharing interests and providing wallpapers and art related to the game. Easy Ways To Earn World of Warcraft Gold FAST!
Gold is something that all World of Warcraft players are constantly seeking. Many World of Warcraft players spend all of their time trying to earn gold when they are at lower levels. As your character level increases, you quickly find that it no matter how much time you spend earning World of Warcraft gold, you can always seem to spend it in the blink of an eye.
The purpose of this article is to help you lessen the amount of time that you spend trying to accumulate gold in World of Warcraft by giving you tips that will help you earn gold quickly and easily.
Many players search the Internet for free guides with the hope of finding some in depth strategies for earning gold.
The first thing you need to understand is that until you start leveling your character, you will find the process of earning gold to be very difficult.
Many free guides on the Internet will give you locations that you can travel to and mine or grind your way to large amounts of World of Warcraft Gold. Don't expect this to work well (or at all) if you are still under level 12.
The reason for it won't work is that you will often be traveling into areas that are filled with beasts that are level 12 or higher and they will attack and kill you when you are within range. You need to be able to defend yourself adequately before leaving your starting area.
Before you can really start earning gold, you need to have the basics covered. That means you need to have the largest bag that you can afford to carry for starters.
You will also want to increase the amount of bags that you carry as well. This will allow you to loot more of the corpses that you kill and sell that loot for money.
You will also need to get a primary profession that can produce goods that can be sold at high profit margins. At the present time, skinning and mining are the most popular professions among people who are focused on earning as much gold as possible.
The next thing you need to do is look into purchasing a leveling guide. The reasoning behind this is quite simple, you need to get to a certain level in order to leave your starting area and venture into the areas that offer the most opportunity to make World of Warcraft Gold.
A leveling guide gives you step-by-step instructions that when followed, allow you to level your character at a very astounding rate.
Leveling guides work by giving you a proven process for completing multiple quests in a highly efficient manner. This saves your character the time of running from place to place, allowing you to complete all the quests in one area in a sequential order.
The leveling guide will also show you how to turn in the quests in a sequential manner, picking up new quests along the way. Using a leveling guide is essential to getting World of Warcraft riches.
Do not fall into the trap of paying real money for World of Warcraft Gold. While it seems innocent enough, it is actually against the terms of service and if you are found buying gold for your account, your entire account will get banned.
Also, even if you had 200 gold as a level 1-12, there is not much that you can do with it. World of Warcraft gold is most needed as your character surpasses level 18, and can start buying weapons and abilities that can make your character very powerful and much more useful in battle.
The phrase time is money is very applicable here. The less time you spend researching the watered techniques given in free guides, the more time you have to play the game and level your character. Thousands of people are using leveling guides to go from level 1 to level 60 in 5 to 7 days.
Looking for the most complete World of Warcraft gold making guide that you can follow to easily earn thousands of WoW gold? The Dugi's Ultimate Gold Guide will teach you how to start building piles of gold legally and get you on your way to becoming one of the richest players on your server.

Beginners Guide to World of Warcraft
It is a fact that the Warcraft game series is one of the best selling, most popular, vastly accepted series of computer games in the history of mankind. Especially the multi-player version of the game titled "World of Warcraft" has been and it still is the top role playing/action game as we speak. Here are a few tips if you are just entering the Magical World of Warcraft. If you are an honest individual/internet user you will legally purchase the game instead of downloading a pirate copy or a hacked version through the various download/sharing networks.
Then you will discover that there are four discs, a comprehensive manual and a few other stuff like maps and logos. Regardless of where you found the game, you must install it to your personal computer in order to play it. The installation is pretty straight forward and it will guide you through the creation of your first World of Warcraft account. This will be your game account.
In order to start entering the action of the World of Warcraft you have to join one of the various game servers around the world. That's when the real magic of the game begins. There are a series of World of Warcraft servers with different attributes, rules and action types spread around the world. These servers are called realms. Not all servers are good for beginners. It is wise to start experimenting with the game play in a server for beginners and then move on to a server for advanced players. In order to join the servers you usually have to pay a typical monthly subscription but there are servers for beginners where you can join for free.
A few words about the world of Azeroth now, which is the actual place/land where the game is taking place. This is a fictional world which is vast and beautiful, surrounded by myths and legends of warriors, spirits, magicians and monsters. It is a world where hunger for gold, fame and knowledge prevails. This world could be a resemblance of our real earth world at medieval times. There are three big continents in Azeroth with cities, villages, castles and dungeons, forests, rivers and all sorts of structures.
There are also a lot of entities in the World of Warcraft. Each of the three continents is inhabited by different races. For example in the eastern continent lies the kingdom of the Alliance of the humans the gnomes and the dwarves. Kalidmor on the other hand, which is one more of the continents, is the home of the evil orcs and trolls. The orcs and the trolls along with another race called the taurens, form the Horde. The Alliance and the Horde are in constant war.
When you start the game you have to choose sides. You will either join the forces of the Alliance or the forces of the Horde. Then you will have to create your own special character by choosing one of the nine classes of characters that exist in the World of Warcraft. Each class possess different skills, attributes and talents inside the game. For example a hunter or a warrior is not the same as a druid or a mage. This part of the game is the most important. Choosing the right class the fits your own personality or skills will help you while you move on.
As you begin your quest in the of World of Warcraft, your goal should be to gather as much gold as possible and to start gaining battle experience by defeating lesser monsters and other creatures. As you progress you will encounter different creatures and greater monsters. In order to defeat those you will need the help of other individuals. That is the secret to succeed in the game. You must form a strong team of characters/people that will fight together and will stay united at all costs. If you can't form a team of your own it might be a good idea to join an existing team of characters controlled by different people around the world.
If you have played similar action/role playing games then you will find the controls of the game are pretty easy to follow. You must know how to use your keyboard and your mouse to take advantage of the three dimensional environment that World of Warcraft offers. Even if you've never played such a game before you will see that the game play is straight forward and not difficult at all to understand and learn. This is one of the reasons World of Warcraft became so popular after all.

WoW Article: Patch 3.1 and you
With Patch 3.1 looming ever closer (there's a good bet it comes out this Tuesday or the next, but I won't promise to eat a hat it if it doesn't), it's time to examine just how the content will affect our favorite class. The patch is huge, with new features and a massive raid dungeon that should keep us all busy for at least a few months before everyone starts whining about having nothing to do.

WoW Article: How to decide who's getting Val'anyr
With Ulduar due to hit in the near future, Tales of a Priest addressed a pretty timely subject for 25-man raiders yesterday with a blog post on Val'anyr and how you're going to assign it. As it's a constructed Legendary like Atiesh rather than being a dropped item like the Warglaives and Thori'dal (sudden thought: why do the caster Legendaries have to be assembled, whereas the melee/ranged

WoW Guide: Leveling gear
Jason writes in about WoW leveling gear for the playtime-challenged:Hello,As a casual WoW player, I find myself completely overwhelmed when it comes to getting gear for my Paladin. WoW Article: Healing Ulduar and what to expect
The patch for Ulduar is imminent. There's no release date yet. Personally I believe it will land sometime this month. Healing assignments has just gotten more complicated. Incoming damage is more than what's currently in the game. To cap it all off, mana regen's been slightly nerfed. So here's a quick summary of what to expect and how to counteract for it. I've participated in some of the normal

Argent Tournament Dailies: A Chip Off the Ulduar Block
A Chip Off the Ulduar Block is the counterpart to Jack Me Some Lumber, which we talked about a couple of days ago. This time around we need to gather up some stone to be used in building the coliseum. It's another Goblin quest, so naturally this stone must come from the most morally questionable location possible. This time around we're plundering Titan ruins. You're sent off to the Storm Peaks

A guide to shutting out the world of Warcraft
WoW is a very social game, and you might think that there is no getting around it. What we know and don't know about the dungeon after Ulduar
One of the most often asked and debated questions on WoW Insider lately has been:"What is after Ulduar and patch 3.1?" While no one can know for sure, we do have some evidence out there that can help us at least look smart about it.Back in October 2008, Kaplan said in an interview with Curse that Patch 3.2 will contain a new raid instance that hasn't been announced yet. There's some question as

WoW Article: Confessions of the guilty
Diemm, in this excerpt from a long trade chat screenshot (which you can see in this week's column below), confesses right away to ninja'ing a guild bank -- he was brought into a guild by a merge, and decided he'd rather take everything in the bank than be a part of the guild. As despicable as it is, his honesty is quite refreshing. We have a confession, too: last week's Guild "Goodness" was just
